Dacris Benchmarks 9.0 Milestone 1 Announced

Dacris Software is announcing the development of a new version of Dacris Benchmarks, codenamed "Oroles". This application will run on .NET Framework 4.5.2, supporting Windows 8.1 and later OS. The first milestone release, Milestone 1, is scheduled for release on July 15, 2019. We expect this milestone release to be 90% feature-complete, missing only the 3D video test from the set of available benchmarks.
Over the past 5 years, Dacris Software has not released any new version of Dacris Benchmarks, having considered the present version excellent in its feature set. The feature set for Dacris Benchmarks "Oroles" (9.0) will be very similar to 8.1.
Due to time & budget constraints, we are not promising any major new features, despite this being a major version. The biggest improvements will be under the hood, to make use of the new .NET 4.x features. We are hoping to create a compatible 3D test with WebGL, and aside from the 3D test being different, baselines from v8.1 will continue to be compatible with v9.0 baselines. You will be able to compare results from both versions.
